A little planning goes a long way
Give yourself time, pack thoughtfully and check the requirements for your airline and destination.

01 · Before you fly
Check your passport, visa or entry documents and your airline’s baggage allowance. Keep essential medication and important documents in your cabin bag.
02 · Before you fly
Aim to arrive at least three hours before an international flight or 1.5 hours before a domestic flight, unless your airline directs otherwise. Confirm its actual check-in cutoff.
03 · Before you fly
Follow staff instructions and the airport’s posted rules for cabin baggage, liquids, prohibited items and screening. Requirements can vary by route and destination.
04 · Before you fly
Ask your airline about spare lithium batteries, power banks, mobility equipment, sports equipment, dangerous goods and oversized baggage before you pack.
Complete arrival formalities and make any required customs or biosecurity declarations. If you are unsure about food, plants, animal products or other goods, ask the officer rather than guessing.
On a connecting journey, confirm whether you must collect and recheck bags, pass immigration or change terminal areas.
